Be careful of that though Joe as i doubt he is running a TD06 with as much boost as you. Personally i would drill and tap into the manifold ala Spec C.

I would definately recommend moving it to the inlet manifold.

Bringing back up this old girl..
Looking for something similar for my air temp sensor.. Reading the Vipec install guide, they mention to avoid the inlet manifold due to potential heat soak.. Im not really a fan of just drilling a hole in the FMIC piping from the throttle body and hoping for best. (Although, could weld a little nut to it, to use the thread) Would rather the silicone piece, as it looks more practical.. Any ideas. had a look at the Avo one, but as Joe mentioned above, no thread, and they no longer make them as far as I can tell.. Cheers Ashley |

Been reading up on lately as looking at vipec for the back car.
The way i read it makes me think that don't mean avoid it. I think unfortunately the best place is in the intake manifold. Right smack in the centre.
