Default Inlet air temp sensor location

Hi everyone,

I have a Delco IAT sensor installed for my MoTeC. It currently resides in the intercooler pipe just before the throttle body.

Lets say I went back to a TMIC. Where is the best place to install the IAT??

Cheers

Avo do a silicone joiner that allows for a sensor right on the throttle body.

in the later spec c's they are factory fitted in the inlet manifold.

I would suggest fitting it to the manifold as subaru have.

Bump.

Still not THAT keen on drilling a hole in my IC.. is there any way this can be mounted in the silicone joiner that goes between the TMIC and the throttle body?

Any ideas?

Cheers

I have mine mounted in the joiner between the TMIC and throttle body with no problems.
