Here's a PWRX thread on grounding mods:
http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/mechanicals/4368-afm-battery-earthing-kit-gc8.html

Here's a howto:
http://www.scoobymods.com/mod-grounding-wrx-t5561.html

(I just did mine from the -ve battery to the top of the nearby manifold, not all the other points.)

japanese love the hks circle earth, you can make your own kit for far less then what they cost though.

engine bay blink if u get the "branded" ones. In fact the inspection pits or some cops will not pass u if they see this too. Reckon is "Exposed wirings" and they should b kept in a heat shrink or plastic coupler.

Oh noes, We all know what happens when a grounding wire touches bare metal!

Hehe, reminds of a few months ago the cleaner for our building needed a jumpstart. so we got the cars in position, attached the leads to her car, then just as I was about to attach to mine, she pulls me back suddenly and shes all "Be careful, dont touch the car or youll get electrocuted!". I just gave her this "What the fuck have the cleaning chemicals done to your brain" look, then finished the job (im still alive mind you).

I got her to start her car, and despite her warnings earlier, leant on her car while she started it.

Shes not very bright.
