Exclamation Boost PSI for my stock MY01 and weird engine rattling

Hey guys

Just wondering what my stock PSI should be??
Im only get 8 max and it sucks
Also i have a weird rattle in my engine when you rev it... its down near the turbo but cant tell what it is?
Wondering if it has anything to do with my boost issues to?

Could be a heat shield vibrating, but it does depend on what the rattle sounds like..

Replace the pill in the vacuum lines.

Tighten bolts on turbo heat shield/exhaust to stop rattle.

Anything other than that and it will need to see a Subaru workshop... Check the workshops sticky.

How many K's are on the car? MY01's have a catalytic converter in the up-pipe (Only WRX to have this) and sooner or later, usually after the car has some mileage on it, the cat begins to break up and go through the turbo, which usually results in turbo death.

You say you have a TBE on the car, was the up-pipe done also?
