Hey guys

A bit off topic here with the make of the car. I have just got a civic EK that I want to fit some coilovers to. I saw Wilkinsaw that they have a sale on for a set of Ksports fitted for 2 grand. But I have also found Skunk2 coilovers on ebay for 1.5k delievered. I have heard many good things about Skunk2s and not much info on ksports.

So what do u guys think? Cos this is my first set of coilovers, I want to learn more b4 I blow my cash on a set.

For 2 grand, I'd be wanting Tein Flex or 2nd hand monoflex.

If you want something good and on a budget, get the HSD's.

My sister had K-Sports in her 09 Foz xt and the quality is really good and the handling was even better but if you're going to spend $2k then there are better brands to get.

Also if you're going to buy some anyway then why not support some of the paid vendors on here that sell coilovers, I'm sure they will do you a good deal.

Ultrex can get buddy club and prospeed can get quite a few good brand-name coilovers.

Thanks for the comments guys, I have seen quite a few number for praises about HSDs. I was thinkin about 2k installed. So how much would HSD set cost and around how much would install be? I saw that buddyclubs from Ultrex were like $2199, that will be over my budget.

i just got tein super strees from RHD japan which was heaps cheaper then buying here.

I actually thought Troy at Prospeed had some in your budget but just checked and it does seem to be any there now.

They were US branded ones that a few guys on Rexnet had been testing for over a year now.

$1479 for the Civic ones (they are slightly cheaper than the WRX ones that HSD make), then you'd need to check with your workshop to determine an installation cost.
