was there today having a look, manifold was going on for the final time, its been on and off like 30 timers, but steve was saying that he hopes to start her up tomorrow and make it drivable, but dont want to get to excited because i have to take it easy in it....
as for the external gate, ugly but aslong as it does the job and make a loud fuckin noise, im happy not as " educated in this area" as you, whats that exactly, ive just been doing anything that MMS recommends or anything i can think of?

I assume the big rubber thing in the middle against the firewall connected to the motor - to stop the motor pitching when you've got 2 bar smashed in.
Notice the red P's on your car - If i were you, I'd be making the car as stealth/stock looking as possible. Are you pluming the external gate back into the exhaust? Does any of the engine work need to be engineered? Would hate to get it on the road then get yellowed a week later. - 08 STI TMIC - White RA-R Rims ? Not sure they are are 5x100 but. - Stock badging - No rice stickers - Not stupid low - Oval muffler The Red p-plate is always going to be trouble though i guess no matter what.

+1, well they said I can't take it past 4000 rpm for the first 1000 odd k's, but when I get to 800 odd I can start giving Lil squirts but keeping the revs down, ie not taking it near the limiter,
They couldn't stress enough that I can just throw cruise control on and go down south, the car needs to be frequently accelerating and decelerating, going through the rev range, putting the motor under frequent load As for the external gate, left it external, if you look under the drivers side, there a nice dirty pipe , I don't remember y the p's are up there, probably my dad being an idiot, off them now And for the stickers and crap, it's just a Sunday car n track sort or car, so shouldn't be to likely to get a yellow Going to be interested on how those brakes go on the track
