Default Hey guys - Suspension Question

I think is time to get my 07 STi handling a little better.

Want to know what are some good options for suspension, sway bars, struts, bushes the whole lot.

Any ideas or suggestions would be great.
Cheers guys

Well imo the best bang for buck on your car would be bigger front and year sway bars and upgraded end links coupled with a good wheel alignment. search will reveal alot of members with the pig sti doing the same thing and getting good results. Understeer on stock sti is an issue.

If you are running the stock sti pink springs then I would look at changing these out as well to either a good progressive lowering spring or coilovers.

Sway bars: 22mm front, 24mm rear.

Strut braces aren't needed on a GD. Only a 2% changer imo.

Lowering springs: Don't get anything that lowers the car more than 1" - 20mm is optimal on stock struts. Go too low and you'll need roll center kits.

Antilift kit: Doesn't stop 'lift', but allows for a better alignment.

Pro Alignment: Required even if on stock components.

Do this will transform your handling, if you have extra $$$ get some coilover like HSD.

Ok rang john, he seems quite wise wit the product
He has suggested sway bars for frot and rear and a camber bolt to change camber and a wheel allignment to start wth then if i want to take it further then got for strenghtened struts and bigger sway on the rear and upgrading to some nice coil overs later, but he thinks the sway bars and camber will be enough of an upgrade for street use with the occasional track work.
