Default Seat install help needed

Hi guys,

Have read through a few DIY guides/threads on teh interwebs (mainly off NASIOC and p-wrx) about swapping out the SRS airbag seats in the 06 wrx models and need a bit of clarification before I slot a prodrive sparco seat in (drivers side only).

My (basic) understanding is:

Unplug battery (neg terminal)
Unbolt seat
Plug resistor
Bolt new seat with required connections (though the new seat has nothing under it to connect to apart from the actual bolting points)
Replug battery
Pray airbag doesn't go off.

Its most def wrong and I would like some clarification (read:flaming ) before I attempt it and have my face blown off by the airbag

Worst case scenario, off to Dougie at STechnic to get it sorted for some $$$.
