Default GC8 Brakes

Hi all,

I have a 1997 MY98 GC8 and I am looking to upgrade the crappy front brakes to newer 4 pistion brakes. Will bug eye wrx brakes fit the GC8 if I get the brake lines and rotors without using spacers? As far as I know, MY00 brakes will bolt onto the older GC8 if i swap the brake lines and rotors over.

No need to swap the brake lines, just the calipers, rotors and pads. MY99+ have the 4 pots. Bugeye are same. AFAIK they are same up to the current model, just might be different colours etc. Rear brakes are where it starts getting different.

Any WRX (Non-Sti) brakes up to 07 fronts will bolt on, rear 2 pots require backing plates to make them fit.
