Default Car problem - advice needed

hey guys

was driving along Stirling hwy tonite, pulled over at bp to buy some bait for fishing, when i went to start my car it wouldn't work.

I waited a while and kept trying to start it, and sometimes it managed to start but then stalls, it runs out of gas like its choking... even with my foot on the throttle right down it will rev to about 3,000 and then just cut out.

and to keep it up i need to keep pumping the throttle but it still eventually dies.
i had to leave my car there.

anyone know what the problem could be?

i was low on fuel so we thought maybe thats the problem, crap batch of fuel running through but i filled it up and kept trying for an hour or so with little improvement. it would start more frequently but still cut off. and it really struggles to start.

Thanks.

Get it on a tilt-tray to someone who can rip the entire system out And put something else in.

Don't make the same mistake I did and spend thousands on mechanical bits and pieces to the conclusion it's an electrical issue from a crappy OEM alarm system.

Just my 2c.
