For an M10x1.25 Helicoil use a 13/32 drill bit, M12x1.25 tap.

In actual fact the Recoil kit (PN 37106) I have, has a 10.3mm drill and a special tap. The tap is labelled as a Recoil M10x1.25 however it measures 12mm on the outside.

10.3 is near as close to 13/32 though and a hell of a lot easier to get.

Yeah the recoil kit I have for this size is a special tap.

Its sized like an M12 but pitched like an M10 if that makes any sense.

Not sure if helicoil taps/parts are interchangeable with recoil.

Your welcome to borrow if you want, I live in hami-hill but work in kwinana beach if thats any help.

actually my kit is m10 x 1.5 so probably no help.

Not 100% sure but isn't it the inside measurement the helicoil is based on so if you had an M10 x 1.25 helicoil then its meant for a M10 x 1.25 bolt to go on the inside of it which is why the outside diameter is bigger.

Like i said i'm not 100% sure! My 2cents!
