Default my05 STi shifter

ok so my shifter is a bit wobbly and worn, and im considering a short shifter & new bushels combo, but heard its a real c%&t of a job to do, esp with the reverse lockout, so i was thinking, if i just do the bushels and keep the stock shifter, is it much eaiser? or if im going to all the effort to take it all apart, i might as well do the lot?
whos done it? noticeable difference in driving, 0-100 ect?

I used a perrin short shifter not a kartboy...

Yes, there is a noticeable difference. Shifting feels more precise and its easier to get it into gear without hitting the "gate" on fast shifts. But it really wont make much difference to your 0-100 times.

The forum sponsers have them (cma, psr etc), just install it yourself - even if you aren't mechanically minded, it's a pretty simple job.
