Default Prosport Gauges

Hey guys,

Does anybody have any experiences with Prosport Gauges? I've seen a few guys running them in the US, but haven't seen them much here.

I can't justify spending 300+ per gauge on defi's + controller when these are a third the price.

Out of interest, I would be running oil pressure, boost and exhaust temp mounted on the clock.

Thanks in advance,
bird

Defi racer cost less, and dont need the controller.

Speak to Mao, I am sure he could sort you a good price including fitting for a package deal.

Used them in the exact same setup, were good for the money, accuracy came to within 1-2 psi of Defis when compared.

Only complaint is they arent as bright so on a hot bright summers day, so can be hard to read, all other times they are fine.

Ran them for a 1.5 years, sold them with the car.

Or get some secondhand Defi's off Import Monster - $500-$700 (delivered) will get you gauges, sensors, controller and a gauge pod.

I'll give him a call later today

Is there anything particularly wrong with Prosport gauges though??

Not that I've heard of/seen - like you said, they're pretty big in America, so surely there'd be comparisons and tests if you search hard enough.

Other than the stigma that they arent defis? No.

When you can get new defis for 850-900, why would you pay 700 for a 2nd hand set...

Or do what I have done - I got the controller and boost gauge to start with - and get the rest later.
