Default MY07 STi Gearbox and rear diff oil capacity

hi guys,

I know the gearbox is 3.8l for oil or therearbouts? am I correct ?

What capacity is the rear diff?

you just fill it until it drips out of the top fill plug

Rear diff on Sti is 1 litre, but ^^^whs,

BTW the front is a little more at 1.3l

Don't do that to a gearbox. It would take like 10 liters to make it start over flowing

4.7L for 6 speed

1.1L for R180 rear diff

yeah i meant thats how you do the rear diff not the gearbox lol

cheers!! that Syntrax is not cheap shit... 6 litres at $28 a litre...

Yay! People are starting to realise that Redline is not the be all and end all of driveline fluids.
Syntrax is way better value for money, and it can mix with the small amount of oil left over after oil change without turning to mud.

Hey there, sorry to bring up a old thread but I've searched and can't find anything! Little bit confused about syntax! Are you all using the 75w-90 for gearbox and diff OR 75w-90 front and for rear diff is 80w-140 syntax? Can is a 02 JDM sti ej207 6 speed with matching r180 diff
