i have set up the pod filter just wondering on the gc8, what is the best way to run cold air induction to the pod as it is just getting hot air from the engine bay. Maybe pics if sumone has some.

Cheers for your ideas everyone.

if i were you i wouldnt bother because when the cars moving you dont get alot of heat going into the pod as theres a greater ammount of air comeing through the stock intake anyway. i have also been told that because the piping runs under the manafold by the time the air reaches the turbo its hot again anyway so you only reduce it by 2 degrese. i sugest you spend your money on something else

still man 2 degrees difference in ur intake temp may not sound alot before if enters ur cylinders but it does make alot of difference in the engine but yea get a fmic instead of cai as theres no point cooling the air before it goes through turbo and gets hotter than wat is was before any ways

you still get hot air in front mounts because the pipes have to go all the way through the engine bay so theres alot more exposed to the heat opposed to a top mount.

hard to work out if its worth it
