only just started happening but when i use the air con i get a squealing noise from the belt. it will go away then come back.

is it hard to tighten these the belt seems ok.. i dont wana start tightening things and then accidendly loosen somthing else or not be able to get it tight again..

any ideas or help would be great Thanks

it only does it when i turn air con on..

Yeah just tighten the belt, gotta do mine too, from memory take the two covers off the top of the alt & air con, you'll see a shaft with a big bolt running down to a pulley wheel, lightly loosen the bolts on that & the pulley & wind the long bolt down till there is about 5mm play in the belt when stretching it from side to side,then re tighten, should only need a 10, 12 & possibly 14mm socket.

mmmmhhhhh... is it like a system it tightens as u spin nut or u have to hold the tention while u tighten nut to hold it ????

nah just wind it down, the long bolt tensions it.

Any one free tomorrow come over for couple beers and five mins tighten it for me lol
