Well the stocker shat itself so i had to bite the bullet and get a new turbz...
Had a look around and i settled on a VF23, went to X-Speed to get it, but i got a VF34 for a price i couldn't sneeze at.
I fitted it this morning with the help of a mate, only thing that i had to modify was the coolant feed hose by shortening it an inch.. whole job including giving the car a service took about 3 1/2 hours.
First impressions, well i havent got a boost guage yet, but the boost kicks in at about 3500 - 4000 and PULLS!!
Only problem is the damn fuel cut, however that will be rectified when my PFC pro goes in, in a couple of weeks.
The car drives so much better and the the whine of the BB turbo is awesome.
Comparing the sizes if the TD-04 and the VF34, the stocker is tiny.
