ok so i was driving home about 10 mins ago and went to over take a car on marmion. wasnt thrashing it or anything. in 3rd gear doing about 80km pulled out and gave it a lil bit. pretty much strait away my car lost power (like hitting the rev limiter) then it came back on after i took my foot off the pedal. my engine warning light was on and my cruise control light was flashing. so i pulled over and poped the bonnet. no oil or anythin outa the ordenary. i checked my boost controler and it wasnt boosting anything over 13psi. any ideas what it is befor i call subaru tomorrow?

its a my06 wrx. mods are psw tmic. eboost2. 3"tbe. everything else is mechanical is stock.
help please

Was it a harsh cut, like hitting a wall?
if so it sounds like boost cut, possible with those mods. Bring it in to Subaru Wangara, we'll check the code, OBD2 will tell us exactly what the engine was doing when the code was logged

TBE on 06 without a tune/flash is asking for problems, let alone without a bigger TMIC in the picture also and playing with the boost.

I was holding off on the tune until I get my New turbo and cai in 2 weeks. I was gonna get coilovers first but im thinking I'll have to now

crisis averted! went and seen john at subaru wangara. my eboost2 reaced its safe boost limit which triggered my check engine light. she still runs fine. it will be tuned at mms in 2 weeks. (i work fifo so this is the soonest i can do it) the exhaust and eboost2 have been on for about 2 months and the intercooler was only fitted friday. and i havnt been thrashing it. i work away so it only gets used 1 outa every 3 weeks.
