Default Pod Filter on a MY09 WRX

Hey guys,

I went to look at a MY09 Subaru for a mate today. It had an aftermarket 'cosworth' intake pipe and a pod filter on it. Looked pretty tidy etc. Just wondering, is there any issues with AFM's in these models, or ECU issues with having a pod on. Does it require a re-tune normally, or will the ECU learn to live with the pod? Or does it make fugger all difference in the scheme of things, and it's really just a bit of wank and a waste of money?

I have attached photo's.

Thanks
Kym
