Question Whiteline positive shift kit?

Does anyone know if this is another name for shifter bushings or an entirely different product?

I ask as the picture on the whiteline site looks nothing like shifter bushings from other manufacturers (kartboy/TiC/PERRIN/etc)

Description says: "Positive gearbox location"??? (positive location for my 5spd is in the bin and then replace with a 6spd haha)

Whiteline W0584 Front Gearbox - positive shift kit

Thanks,
-Shane.

I think the peerin or kartboy shifter bushings are the way to go mate, we have perrin ones in stock for 5 or 6 speed, $39.95

Cheers
Dan

Yeah I was leaning towards perrin/kartboy, tried and trusted, the whiteline one confuses me haha.

Thanks Dan, will be in touch

Those ones are a little difficult to install as they go into the actual transmission mount, which means removing the mount and supporting the gearbox while you install.

I can heartily recommend though getting EVERY Kartboy shifter/drivetrain related bushing plus a rear subframe and diff lock kit. They are fairly inexpensive and genuinely transform the car. Some are a definately a simple home DIY install but with a trolley jack and some mates you could probably do them all in your driveway.

Tighter and more positive / accurate shift action.
