No - at low load they wouldnt have to work as hard.

Unichip probably explains alot of the issues.

at idle the unichip will be doing fark all though i would have thought, if it used to run okay & has progressively gotten worse i'd be looking at all of the above you've been checking (afm/aicv/plugs/leads/coilpack)

Hi Guys

have found out its a boost leak problem
I have checked all hoses and they seem to be good
I think its the manifold gaskets, has anyone else got any ideas.
Its off to get it diagnosed by Subaru today, but dont want them talking shit

split Y pipe under the intercooler? when mine split it held shut off boost so still idled okay, but as soon as i got on boost it would open up & leak resulting in only about 10psi when it was tuned for 15psi

Hi Guys

Was the AFM, i bought a second hand from Matt (White GC8) for $80.
He said it had 200kms on it. But when i changed it over in the car park it was fucked.
Never the less he said he would give me the cash back if i couldnt get it to work.
I then took it to west racing and Tim Slacko fixed it in 2 mins with a new AFM.
Matt (White GC8) didnt give me the money back, dont buy shit from him
