Sway bars
Ok Guys,
After your thoughts on sway bar set ups. Im looking at either whiteline(which seems to be number one pick around here) 22mm front and 24mm rear or perrin 22mm front and 25mm rear. Any info and experience would be much appriciated. Also difference in doing split set up like suggested or doing 22mm, 24mm, 25mm for both?? Thanks Anthony

Whiteline and Cusco are generally the most common. Coils and sways at a minimum. Strut braces are nice, questionable improvement, and don't even look a h-brace. In a GD, it will do nothing. I like the whiteline stuff. My driveway thread has what I have. Brent.

A couple of setups that cover what most people run.
1) larger front and rear bar (20F, 22R, 22F/22R, 22F/24R) Combos go on and on 2) stock front, larger rear bar (22R, 24R) Cusco = Jap quality....and its blue! Whiteline = avaliable everywhere, easier on the wallet and works well too Perrin = good too but why bother when you can get whiteline? Lastly adjustable swaybars are worth the extra pennies over fixed bars imo, allow you to adjust as necessary until you find what setup works for you. |

looks like someone is researching how to spend his winnings on our comp
I think the three brands already discussed are the best brands to look at for Subies. The Perrin stuff is very very nice though. Everything is lightweight but made of very strong metals. The links would weigh about 1/4 of the Whiteline links.

Yes!! well putting towards the end package! Looks like I might go the Perrin range for something different. Sways, links, DBA rotars, HSD coilovers, front and rear struts should be a good start for handling mods!!!

also correct me in im wrong but with the perrin stuff you would need the perrin end link and mounts as its not inter changeable with whiteline?
but cusco sway can be used with whiteline end link and the likes
