Not that i can hear or notice, but have got car back and rac have overfilled the power steering fluid above the max line and have driven the car back home and car is smoking badly from the drivers side plus has spit fluid on my windscreen wipers and on my front right fender aswell so will have to take back to rac so they can see the proof of this. looks like apprentice has done re fill on my car, i couldnt believe it.

well yes a lesson well learnt but have to bring back to rac tomorrow for them to check the proof and then drive back to asg to get a proper check from people that know what they are looking for and talking about and have a second hand rack lined up if that is the problem.

well this morning Sean at asg checked her out and was very helpful and passed me onto a steering specialist in ozzy park, They had a check and advised it doesnt feel like its the power steering pump and rack and u joint would be very unlikely, he advised that my struts could be causing the heavy steering and suggested getting a suspension place to check it out and explained i am waiting on new suspension as allstar advised mine is rooted so suggested getting this done first and if problem still occurs im looking at rack rebuild or pump rebuild please let the suspension be the fix.

it will be the bearings in the strut tops then, spray some wd40 where the top bolt is, should help lube it till your new suspension gets here

Hey guys, instead of posting a new thread, I'll ask here instead.. Does anyone know where I can get 10x14x2mm O-ring for the input power steering hose? I tried repco, sca, bunnings.. Couldn't find them anywhere.. Hope anyone can point me in the right directions..

Cheers.

If you still have the original one maybe try ended. Failing that go see transeals in welshpool.
If they don't have it, it doesn't exist.
