Default what hp figures

Gday all
Ive started moddifing my 99gt forester, currently have td04 turbo and wrx stock exhaust(got 2 kids under 3), haltech piggy back tuned to 12psi,lowered 40mm, 18 ultrex rims, wrx sway bars

At the dyno when tuning the foz with these mods it made 130hp at the wheels, sounds pretty crap, drives 10 times better though. Is this a good power level for these mods, I thought it was rather low my liking.

does anyone know if the same model wrx silicone intercooler pipes fit the forester, everything I can see sais they should fit, been reading these pipes are convulted to restrict the air?? like what for so I need to upgrade all the intercooler piping and remove airbox resonator

would the early 2000 wrx bugeye dumpipe down to the mid pipe fit the foz? hoping it does

who cares about the power, as you said it drives 10 times better which is what really matters.

who tuned your haltech and how much was it + the tune? also what made you get one in the first place?

i ask because i have got mild mod on my car, so didn't really want to get a full replacement ecu. it is my daily. have thought of unichip but people have said they are a waste of time. was also thinking of the apexi neo, but not much info on here about them.

what other plans have you got for the gt?

New exhaust and turbo will see more hp.
If you want a quiet exhaust get a varex put in.

Welcome mate!

They came out with around 170hp at the fly, take off 15/20% and that's around 135hp on the tarmac. The car is 12 years old too so I would say that's about par but probably on the low side for those mods. But as mentioned it's all about the bum dyno, if it feels better then it's improved on what it was outputting previously.

Just out of curiosity, what's your name?

I've got ~220HP on ASG's dyno with CAI, silicon, TD04L, Power FC, fuel pump (didn't see this on your list, do it) and a 3" TBE. Oh and my car has ~200,000kms

1 bar + 3 inch TBE should see approx 200hp at the hubs on a forester

What dyno and do you have a before power level?

I personally don't care too much for dyno numbers, more so how it feels to drive. If looking at dyno numbers, it's best to compare on the same dyno the difference before and after.
