hey guys/galz

what colour wire do i splice into on the ecu to connect a shift light?

You have an STi don't you? It's got an in-built shift light/buzzer - check the manual.

yeah i know, but its not good when your down the drags and all the tention and nerves build up. its only a small LED.

so modify the led to a super bright LED

tryed that, the bulbs soldered to the circut board and its enough trouble getting to the board let alone unsoldering the globe to put a brighter one in. which may draw more power and stuff things up completely.

so what colour is the wire guys, stop holding out on me

how big do you need?? - how hard is it to look at the tacho whilst driving dead straight for 400m for 12-13sec. Maybe you could hook it up to the airbag if you need a bigger warning system
