Default Downpipe Difference

hi guys,
i am changing my downpipe as i have a 3inch one already but it is not stainles steel, hence i want to change it for a stainless one because this one has seen better days. I was looking around and have notices there are different types of flanges from the turbo. There are some which have the 3 inche whole but the remaining of the area leaving the turbo is blocked, and there is some with it all open...which i think is called the bell mouth. Does anyone know what the difference is and which will be better...and also any good brands to go with?
and there is probs a thread getting around that has already mentioned this...but im not to flash with this entire forum. lol
cheers guys

Norm Butler, X-force, plus all the Japanese brands. But you may need some cutting and joining if your not changing the whole system.
A bell mouth pipe with a divider between the wastegate and the outlet for the turbine would be best. Most bell mouths don't have the divider plate. Butler exhausts do for sure.
But bellmouth > the flanged type with plate.

I just purchased a bell mouth stainless. Are you running stock turbo?

Bumping this up instead of creating a new thread.

What would be the real life differences between a single catted and dual catted downpipe?
Assuming that both utilise hi flow (100 cell?) cats.

Would a single allow gas to flow faster/pass through the downpipe quicker?
Would a dual be quieter at idle/WOT?

Any information on this matter would be appreciated!
