Default Mounts for 4 Point Harness

I want to mount eye bolts for 4 Point Harness in Rear Parcel Shelf to allow easy clip in/clip out of harness.

Are there any suitable mount points, that dont require rear seat to be removed each time you want to access the eye bolts? Baby restraint points etc?

Must be lots of people that have installed these?

Any advice welcomed.
Cheers Tim

Parcel shelf will require doubler plates as a minimum to have enough strength for a harness. The baby seat mounts are not designed for a harness.

Options are:
Meridian Motorsport Harness Bar which sits above your parcel shelf: Custom Race Fabrication, Roll Cages, Harness Bars, Seat Mounting etc.

Put the eylets inbetween the seat cushions. This is pretty close to iffy as the angle of the harness is not ideal, but still legal.

Just pull the seats out, only takes a few minutes to do.

Then you can get into the debate of how safe it is to run a harness without roll over protection. A lot of people won't run with a harness unless there is a roll over bar, half cage, full cage etc due to the way the roof crumples and the lack of movement in a harness.

Its only 10 minute job to remove the seat,Plus the removal of the back seat makes the car sound awesome from inside

I have my harnesses mounted and the rear seat in place.

You can remove the seat, put the eyelet bolts in, replace the seat. It does fit.
Rather than removing the seat to unclip when I am not using the harnesses I
simply leave them clipped in and place them under the floor mats in the rear
passenger footwells.

Nauli told me that the seat goes straight back on without having to take off the eyelet bolts.

Correct answer Burkemeister... the eyebolts are strategically placed so as to allow the seat to go back leaving them in place....and happy birthday for yesterday!

...and seat removal and replacement are 5 minute jobs...
