upper engine cleaner, let it soak. then just do it up, then undo it, backwards and forwards gently. a little bit at a time.
If that doesn't work, you'll have to heat the pipe.

Stainless can be a bugger when it binds, like it has in this case.

If above fails, its cut off flush, drill and re-tap, if possible, or plug and make a new fitting for the new probe.

Also pls use the crow foot tool to undo O2 sensors . A spanner is a no no.

^^^, why is that Mao, are you more likely to put some sideways, force on which increases chance of binding? or does the crowsfoot have extra torque?

Just curious. Thanks

Yes, more likely to go side ways with a spanner and round the hex.

Crow foot which are wider than spanners, have more contact on the surface of the hex which prevents rounding of the O2 sensor. It also diverts the angle of the push.

It is the norm for O2 sensor removal, as an open or closed end will have a high chance of slippage and round the hex on the sensor. Movement is limited when you have an open or closed end, esp when you are removing it with the pipe still on the vehicle.

I manage to fit ring spanners over O2 sensors.
Try a heat gun and heat the exhaust up.
