Default gc8 boost problem help!!!

so i last night i changed all vacuum lines on my 97 gc8, in the process i snapped a nozle off a sensor, i glued it back on and thought that it will be fine, jumped in the car this morning to go to tafe and its running like shit wont boost above 6psi (was boosting around 14psi), came home poked a neddle down the nozle to make sure its not blocked with super glue, it all seems fine,i tried the ecu reset/ diagnostic process all i got back was a o2 sensor fault. car still runs like shit so if any one else has any ideas please let know, ive attached a pic of the broken sensor/unit

Near the T-piece coming off the wastegate there is a smaller vaccuum line with a 'restricter pill' in it. This restricter essentially holds the pressure in the system (or something like that) and without it, your boost will just run at what is known as 'wastegate pressure' which is just 7psi or something. Put the old line back on or find that restrictor pill and slide it into the new line.

Check the hoses that you took off.
In one of them there will be a restrictor pill.
Put that back into your new hose.

Edit - Jezza beat me by a whisker...

When I did the conversion on my car it had a split hose so my dad replaced it for me.
Little did I know at the time that he had removed the restrictor at same time.
I drove the car for months the way it was and was rather disappointed at the performance. Amazing the difference such a little thing makes.

depends on how you've plumbed your MBC into the system.

did you just insert the MBC where the T piece was between the wastegate actuator & the compressor outlet?
