Yer, I bought my car from Singapore and when I inspected the ecu, it didn't have a case/casing/whatever, just the plain exposed ecu. I got my brother to make me a el-cheapo housing.
I thought it had a aftermarket ecu and the previous owner had did a ecu swap with a (supposedly) stock one. I'd guess that if geoff didn't mention that the sensor on my tmic had something to do with autronic, I wouldn't of have found out!

But alas, there is no one on Christmas Island can do any sort of ecu tuning
*plays sad violin tune*

Better still i have a stock v5 ra ecu that i can swap with you and some cash if you are interested. I dont know if a normal ecu can control your dccd.

Let me know if you are interested.

Cheers

I think I should hold onto my ecu for the time being - if I do swap ecu's and there is a mishap, I'd kick myself - with my size 10.5 safety boots, steel cap and all!

Sorry for misleading anyone, but I didn't plan to do a ecu swap

Just out of curiousity does the V5 RA have a DCCD?
