just yesterday I finished installing the GD clutch master cylinder and GD STi intercooler on my GC8, but my carbon fibre strut brace does not fit back in.
What strut braces are available to match this setup or what do I have to modify to make it fit?
I have the STi carbon fibre strut brace and the normal strut brace from ultrex so I could modify either one of them if need be?

My cusco one just fits, so there should be plenty that can work.

I was told that the carbon ones don't go back on if you do this upgrade.
Where did you get your GD clutch master cylinder from and how much was it?
I'm going to do the same mod very soon.

my clutch master cylinder was well knackered, so i opted for a for a brand new one from subaru. $333 and a week later I got my master cylinder...... without the remote reservior. -_-'
that was another $80 ex japan....

can anybody confirm that the ultrex strut brace will fit on a gc8 with a gd sti intercooler and bov.

seems similar to the cusco style. But obviously dont want to order it and find out it wont fit.

I have a GC with one of the carbon STi strut braces on.... and a PW top mount. Just fits with a bit of rubbing. The boys at STechnic will probably attest to how much of a bitch it was to fit on haha

I don't think an Ultrex one will fit, they are a bit wide. You need one of the braces that sits as close to the firewall as possible

My Ultrex fits behind the GD STi cooler with ease. This is on a V8 STi mind you.
