Default might have a fucs oil issue

ok so i gave my 96 era wrx motor a service dumped the oil and new filter i used fucs TITAN SUPERSYN 5W-40
Part No : 3281

as this is what was recomended by them as the oil to use

However i have sinced noticed that i get a little lifter noise just slightly and when the car idles for a few miniutues it has a slightly diffrent idle.

And when it use to sit on 21 hg at idle it now sits around 18.5 with the only change being the oil change as i brought this car only recently im unsure on actully kays and previous oil used

it does not use oil or leak any amounts i was thinking maybee its a bit thin maybee any ideas

correct oil weight is 10w-40.

But going down to 5w40 isnt going to kill anything.

being a 96 motor it is probably a bit worn out too so I would be using 10/40 at least.

If the lifters arent bleeding up, maybe add some lifter free, or an oil flushing agent, run it for a while and then change the oil again.
Generally the later HLA heads don't have the lifter issues that the earlier Liberty RS heads did.
