Default HEL Brake Line Fitment Help!!

Hey all,

just a quick one as i'm getting all of my parts ready for my caliper swap tomorrow I would appreciate if someone could help me out!!

Front calipers are the standard 4 pots found on 99-04?? anyway, upon comparing the stock banjo bolt with the HEL banjo, i noticed the stock one has a hook which fits in adjacent to the bolt which is used to prevent the banjo from rotating. seen here,

NOW, my issue is obviously the HEL banjo does not have this hook. Is this a big issue or can it be solved with the bolt at the right tension?

cheers

Yeah just the usual little extra details of genuine parts vs aftermarket, get a set of flare nut spanners (if you don't already), will make life so much easier for doing the lines

If you have standard struts you have to file out the bracket that the Brake line fit through, otherwise you won't get the brake line to fit through as well as the bit that holds the line to the bracket.
