Installing 3 port
Hi iv just bought a MAC 3 port solenoid.
Do I hook it directly as the 2 port or is there something else that needs to be done? Looks like one the ports on the 3-port is an exhaust.. should it be set up as normally closed or open ? anyone? Last edited by waxdass; 11-04-2006 at 12:58 PM. |

The extra port is a vent and can be plumbed back into the air intake before the turbo if so desired. As the standard unit is only a 2 port jobbie, it's not really necessary to do this.

Iv added some pics comparing the 3 port to the stock 2 port.
So which lines go where ? the right hand side on the 3 port is laberlled the P (pressure side?) 1, middle is number 3 and left is number 2. |
