Down Compression
I did a compression test on my engine, and its really low on compression in 1 cylinder, and a little bit in the 2nd.
Was just curious as to what might be the cause of it being down compression. And ive been told that its a rebuild for it. I would of thought it would just be change the cylinder heads over etc, not a whole rebuild?

probably just a head gasket but obviously there could be something else wrong.
all depends, if you dont know take it to a workshop and see what is actualy wrong then go from there.. head gasket from subaru is about 110 from memory. regardless engine has to come out (so much easier). |

Why did you make another thread ? =S .....

They'll need to open your engine and do a total rebuild, or for the same amount of money you can buy a brand new EJ207 block. It would probably be cheaper to get a brand new block. From the way your redlining with antilag everywhere you go, I'm actually not surprised. Do you have a stock motor ?
