Cool Hi wrx air intake ????

I have a split in air intake right where it joins to my turbo on 99 wrx and only bought it a week ago was obviously already like this could it have caused any damage ??

it will be sucking in un-metered & unfiltered air, replace asap, unfortunately on my99 model you will have to remove the intake manifold to do this

sorry bout the intro never used these internet forums b4.... i have taken the rex to all car performance yesterday afternoon as i am new to the turbo world and want to learn more before i start taking manifold off etc does anyone know roughly how much i woud be up for as obviously they will have to take manifold off fit new intake and part cost.. hopefully not too much i just over spent my budget just buying the car alone cheers guys

take it to a specialist subaru workshop, it will be cheaper as they will known what they're doing
