Default New radiator now steering problems

Hey guys my radiator had a crack in it so my partner took my car to a local mechanic near his work to have it replaced. He went to pick it up only now the power steering is slightly shuddering when turning the car? Would changing the radiator affect this?

Or what do u reckon could be the cause... I really wanted to take it to stehnic to have the radiator replaced but it wouldn't have made it that far.

Thanks

+1 they may have gotten coolant on the power steering belt, use wax eg a candle on the belt and it will dry it out a little. if that doesnt solve the problem pull the lid of the ps pump and check if it has enough fluid

Apparently the guy did a service on my car at he same time.. We took it back to him so hopefully it's something as simple as that!!

You were right, he had apparently sprayed the engine bay with degreaser and go it on the belt so he reckons the belt was slipping from that... He tried to clean it, it's slightly better but he reckons it will take a while to wear off!
