Default MY99/00 STi Front Drive Shafts

hi, just wondering if the front my99/00 sti front drive shafts will fit a late 97/98 rex. i know that the drive shafts on the sti were thicker, but will it fit?

should do, they didn't change the lengths till the later models,a nd the output splines should be identical..

what about the abs rings on the outer drive not being compatible??????
what ever this means

they might have a different number of teeth..

get the new shafts, cound the number of teeth on the abs rings, if different, you can swap them over, means a few minutes of careful hammer work, but its not a big hassle

i think the teeth number are irrelevant, its the clearance between the teeth and the sensor, i think pre 99 the teeth were mounted sideways in the hub, from 99 onwards they moved to having them point upwards.
