This is the latest post from Prospeed saying that for a GC8 they are $2999.

And why would you buy them from a supplier who can't even send a $25 gasket to Perth in a timely manner (if at all)...

Got mine ex USA ( same place as Fred ) but this was a well over a year ago and it seems some savings have been passed on locally since I bought mine.

I also took the gamble of dodging import duty with the supplier agreeing to put a sub $1000 value on them but the trade off was thats all they could be insured for, but at the time local prices were so rude that it was worth it.

No warranty.

Hey cuz, I got them from memory for about $2300 shipped, which is why I posted 'cheap' in one of those threads. As Jaron also posted, they were closer to the 4k mark up until that thread had started.
I remember because it was almost the same price to get two sets sent via the US, that's why I wasn't too fussed about only getting them insured for just shy of 1k

You can buy KW V3 for a GC8 from Wheels World for $2999....so why would you even contemplate getting them from over east for the same price? And OK, maybe you can get them from the US a bit cheaper, but then you pay shipping, import duty...etc, etc...then if anything happens what about warranty...will you ask Wheels World to warranty them?
I originally called WW and got a quote for both supply and fit. I felt very happy with their service and if I chose to go ahead I would have done it through them.

I later heard of a shop (not ProSpeed) who sell them for $700 less than what WW and ProSpeed do.

When it comes to saving that much I am inclined to look at it. If it was a $100 then I wouldnt bother and just get WW to supply and fit.

From the US they are as cheap as $2100 atm. So Thats an even bigger saving, but Im not into buying from the US.

Thats why I said I would see what prices I could find. No one goes for the first quote they are given...
