GC8 Radiator suggestions
My China spec ASI radiator is leaking around some of the fins (and has already been repaired once because it sprung a leak in the pipe for the hose to the reservoir). The stock radiator is back in for now but the top inlet is cracked etc.
It's a '94, What solutions do others recommend? |

New end tanks on your stock radiator.

I have a '97 radiator, second hand taken off my RX as I did a STi conversion, no leaks I know of, you can have for cheap if it will fit/you want it?

So no better solutions than an OEM one unless you spend PWR prices?

I just bought a KOYO branded OEM style radiator from NATRAD in Malaga.
Cost me just over $300 from memory. Had it in for over 2mths now with no dramas.

Epic thread bump.
My radiator has finally given up and cracked the drivers side end tank rather badly. It overheated on Friday and luckily I was close to home. Highly relieved about this as a run through the hills was on the cards... could have been a lot worse. Anyhoo, obviously up for a new one, so looking for some advice. I've been reading the forums quite a bit, but the threads are a bit old, and perhaps the advice has changed over the years. It looks like the options are: OEM from a wrecker Koyo OEM replacement Chinaspec Alloy off eBay My hoses are relatively newish, but I'm thinking of replacing with silicone and probably will get an ASI kit off eBay - that is unless Rossco's view on them has dramatically changed My car is more of a weekend warrior than a daily, so something with a bit more efficient cooling would be nice, without the bank breaking pricetag of a PWR or other performance equivalent. I am leaning towards the OEM spec Koyo, but just wondering if anyone has got some eBay ones that they can vouch for? Is Natrad still the place in Perth to get a Koyo? Cheers!
