does anyone know what brand of clutch is better , i was looking at extreme and exedy but have been told that exedy is better. is that true.

exedy oem for subaru, i would pick them.

beware of china copies.

Exedy. I would recommend a heavey duty cushioned/ organic clutch due to the fact that it won't stress the box as much as a button or multi plate clutch

Just had one of these put in with a lightened fly wheel. All purchased from CBA (Clutch & Brake Australia) Malaga.

Call Dave at STechnic I've had a few clutches go over the years and they've always done a fantastic job.

Excedy + light weight chromoly flywheel will set you back about ~ $1500 give or take a bit *fitted.

Drop off in the morning pickup in the evening.

I just had mine done by the guys at STechnic about a month ago. New clutch and skimmed flywheel it goes great now and does wicked launches.

^ How much are they charging these days?

They swap the flywheel with a reconditioned one then send your one off for skimming and prepping for the next customer AFIK

Yeah that's how they do the flywheels. I can't remember how much the clutch/flywheel was. I got it done at the same time as some other work.
