Default Suspension problems?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before - The rear left suspension makes a thudding sound when taking corners or going over speed bumps. It has been like this since I got my wrxy in 2010.. Over the last 3-6months its started getting worse, more frequent and louder.

Any ideas on what this could be? She is due for a service and is still under warranty. Any advice would be much appreciated. I have read the post about all the mechanic recommendations and am trying to decide which one to use. I am hoping this problem isn't too costly..

Thanks
Sim

I know.. It always bothered me, took it to maximum when I first bought her and about 6 months ago - They said it wasn't anything worth worrying about- then it got worse.. now Im worried.

Has it been lowered? If so they might have cheated with the springs cause we get a lot of lowered cars in at work and being Kwinana/rockingham area 90% of people just cut the springs, and then when they go on the hoist the stings fall out of alignment, if this is the case with yours I'll be taking it to the dealer to make sure this isnt the prob cause nothing worse then going over say a railway track and your springs falling out/: just another problem it might be.

Under warranty? Go to a dealer and get the Foreman or equivilent to at least go for a drive with you and check it out.
Might be nothing, might be something, its pretty hard to tell without looking at it.

Cheers, a few others have suggested it might be to do with the struts needing to be regreased. Has anyone experienced this before?
