Default Diff ratio for 99 my00 wrx

Whts the standard gear box and diff ratio for a 1999 my00 wrx? What's the best diff to swap over to?? Want to try and achieve a 50-50 ratio if that can be done?

I'm a noob when it comes to this.. Just want to know is there a matching diff for the gear box or do you have to buy a gear box with a diff to suit? If someone could fill me in with some info that would be appreciated =]

my99 WRX is 3.9 Final drive with a 1.1:1 transfer drop down to a 3.54 rear diff

Center diff is 50:50 torque split with 4Kg/m Viscous coupling.

Being a noob is due to a lack of education, yes?

Get an education by doing some searches.

swap the gear box over to a 4.11 or 4.44 ratio and get a diff to suit.

i'd recommend a 4.44 short ratio ra box, much more fun.
