Default Calling all GC8 owner!!!!

Hey Guys,

I've been unsuccessful in getting a definative answer to what options are available to 99-00 GC8 owners wanting to upgrade their injectors. I want to use the standard fuel rail and therefore drop in replacements are necessary. looking for 650-800cc size..

I've been told by 2 shops that SARD do NOT make injectors for 99-00's..

Who is runnig bigger injectors in a 99-00 and what are they and where did you get them from??

Cheers

Brett

What shops did you speak to? I am quite certain they do make them. Geoff bought some 850's for his at one stage I think.

Looks like he beat me to it.

Thanks Guys,

I have spoken to Perfect run and Greenline who I have done heaps of business through before and the both told me SARD make 850CC injectors for EJ207 (STI right) 99/00's but nothing for EJ205 (WRX).. (the rest of the range is for pre 99 wrx's.)

I'm pretty sure when I spoke to Speedworks they said something about nismo injectors maybe fitting or something like that (don't quote me on it though it was a while ago)..

Geoff, could they have been the 850cc ones? Anyone know if they will fit a wrx if designed for an STI?

Cheers

Brett

They are interchangeable.

99/00 STI's both ran the exact same 440cc injectors your car has now.

Yeah the nismo ones do fit ... the reason i said 800ish is i recall them being 864cc or something strange like that?

Anything that will fit the 99-00 207 ought to fit the 99-00 205. Just make sure they are sidefeeds.

I believe you can get an 01 inlet manifold, bolt it on and decap the injectors, and it works out cheap cheap

If you go this route you will need to mod the TGV's. Bit of stuffing about but can pay off.
