Well you may laugh, but there is no such phrase as "I wasted too much time taking photos of where everything went as I was taking it apart".

I have removed and now reinstalled the intake manifold on my MY06 WRX (non-STI).

I'm almost up to refitting the intercooler, but have a few hoses I can't work out the correct connections for, despite having a bunch of photos of the removal as these were hidden by other components.

There are 4 hoses/pipes, I suspect these make 2 pairs which should be connected, but can't be sure.

1) - last line off intake pipe, before turbo inlet
2) - black metal pipe, coming up from crankcase/middle of block
3,4) - plastic Tee piece just to the right of turbo outlet (as viewed from front of car) - This Tee has 2 lines off it, one currently has a hose attached, the other comes straight up, ready to have a hose attached

I have one piece of hose left over, but it doesn't look obvious to join these.

The one facing backwards goes to the PCV valve on the inlet manifold. The plastic t should have a hose on it that goes to the inlet pipe. Metal pipe should connect to the breather from the rocker cover

Realised I did have hose for metal pipe, just hadn't connected as was proving tight.

Plastic Tee to inlet pipe. Tick

But the other short, right angled hose from the plastic Tee (shown pointing backwards in photo) : - you say it goes to tthe PCV valve on the inlet manifold. Could this connection be obscured by the BOV hose?
I can't see any other connection point.

yes its hard to see, but its there, under the throttle body.

Sorted. I took the throttle body off and found the PCV connection under it.

That is where the hose off the plastic tee went.
