I think the top mount will give u a better feeling car, ill post up the dyno sheet of mine if I can find it. I wouldn't worry about the figures so much but more how the car delivers the power

No one is trying to turn it into a pissing contest.

More so looking at comparisons to local cars. 240kW on a VF34 at 1.4bar is beyond unreal.

You should gain more power/torque earlier on. This will probably cause peak power figures to drop. You will have more area under the torque curve though, so the car will be faster.

Things to consider, waterspray on the TMIC and shielding of the turbo either correct shields or ceramic coating to help limit heat soak to the TMIC.

yeah thats what im after, better drivability, I will take it on the track for a few trackdays, but probably run an oversized waterspray tank controlled by the link.

as I said its not really a vf34, it actually started as vf36, ported p20, back cut exhaust wheel, 18g compressor, 14psi actuator and bearing modifications. Its more closely spec'd to a t518z (trust tdo5 hybrid). the back cutting lets it flow more at higher rpms. so yes it unheard of on a standard vf34. vf34's regularly get 220-230kw on local dynos as a comparison. Tuner said the turbo still had more in it as well, but I didn't want to run more boost than that.
All this is on ported modified factory headers too, similar to what grimmspeed do.

I;ve got a mate with stock v4 sti running a vf34 and 3 inch downpipe and g4 link running 200kw atw as another comparison, tuned on the same dyno.

I also have ported v5 sti heads and crawford adjustable idlers which have been dialled in when the engine was getting built, so the timing is perfectly even from left to right, so not your average stock engine.

BP 98 octane, E85 not available on the pump around the bottom half of the north island in nz, and about $3+ per litre for race e85.

My fuel system is set up to run e85, aeromotive stealth pump and id1000 injectors. but until e85 is more available I wont be tuning for it.

oh and FYI we dont have to run cats over here if your car was imorted before a certian date, so that may explain my power being so much different from aussie cars

No need for a v mount. TMIC will be sweet! You wont have any problems. May loose a fraction of power but will be more responsive everywhere!
