My whole build was using that ethos, since I started I've had a son and my priorities have changed, I dont need a street legal racecar, just after more drivibility on my daily driver. I'd actually prefer a later model stock wrx in all honesty

I guess i'll end up losing some power but just trying to gauge how much.

another way of looking at it....

Who has has 200-240kw atw on a top mount, and changed to a FMIC with no other mods and had it retuned? how much extra power did you make? how did your boost curve change?

Blues on here went from a vf37 TS and FMIC to a TMIC. He lost a bit of power but went over a second quicker in his lap times.

awesome thanks kato thats a big help, at huge difference in spool, around 1000rpm in peak torque but torque levels are pretty much the same.

of course I always have the option of going twin scroll as well, already running a moroso sump and I've got the original P25 housing, would just need headers and downpipe

I found EL headers picked up 200 - 300rpm in spool on mine, no idea if that translates to a 2L in the same fashion though?

I fitted a gd sti cooler to gc8. I have an ultrex bonnet scoop, the big one. What have other people done with the splitter? Have you used a gd sti splitter? Will it bolt up to a gc8 bonnet?? cheers
