they flow the same as vf34....except spool up faster with all the header designed for them, plus the other junk that goes with it...

Default twin scroll

Hey people

I am running a vf36 twin scroll with twin scroll headers...

Car has deffently changed note....sounds more like a rally car with an exhaust.....

The preformance is awsome....i am currently running eveything stock but even on the stock engine you can notice a lot of improvement..

turbo kicks in quicker and faster and does not run out of puff... The best thing about it is the amazing quick spool coming out of corners....i can see why the rally team uses it....so smooth and quick....

jamie....we should hook up and you can see what mine feels like stock....i am ordering a motec to retune along with bigger injectors and biger pump and aps cai and silcon hose....then i can tell you how she really sucks and blows....

Do NOT get normal headers and mod them to suit.

AVO headers.

VF36/37 is great untill you want huge HP. Neither will make the same peak HP as a vf34 but won't be far off and have a longer powerband.

Also note you will need the correct sump to suit as the twinscroll headers won't fit otherwise.

Those headers look very similar to tomei twin scroll ones, also very similar to the factory ones.

correct me if I'm wrong but are the factory twin scroll headers cast headers like the normal "pre-twin scroll" design? If they are I would stick with them, keep alot hotter and stay hotter.

Clint is spot on, I can't speak from first hand experience but I was going to get the twin scroll setup on my new motor but was told that the VF37 would not make as much "peak" hp as a VF30/34. This was found to be the case on a GPN rally car where the 37 was removed and replaced with a 30.

However, I still am a fan of the twinscroll theory and when the time comes for a turbo upgrade, the big jap turbo manufacturers are now releasing their popular models with twin scroll exhaust wheels (read HKS and BLITZ bolt-ons for the GDB)...and that is the path I will be taking.

Your right with 1st/2nd cylinders and 3rd/4th matching up but your wouldn't want to go through the effort of modding them to suit.

The reports I have seen show the gain from stock to aftermarket twinscroll headers are very very marginal.
