Worn CV Joints
Hey Guys,
I've got a 2000 Subaru WRX STi (MY00), and when i start turning courners you can hear a rubbing noise coming from the front. I assume it's the CV Joints. Can anyone confirm this? If it is, how much am i up for and where's the best place to go? Thanks |

CV's don't usually make a rubbing noise' it's more like a crunching noise & only on full lock, could be a tyre or bit of inner guard rubbing, but if it is any Subi specialist will be able to help, depends where you are close to.

sounds like the tyres are scrubbing to me, have you made any wheel/tyre/suspension changes lately ? do your tyres look unevenly worn on the in/outside edges? hit any kerbs lately?

finally got a look from under, the previous owner didnt setup the front when he changed the suspension/types so she's running hard on the inside of me types and worn them down to nothin. Cheers
