Default Avo Intake Vaccum Lines Help Gc8

Hi All,

I've just fitted the attached AVO intake piping, i took the intake manifold off to do it.

I am not a mechanic and did it with some friends over the christmas break.
Now i feel like the car isnt boosting (No boost gauge at the moment).

I have an EBC with low and high boost, low and high seem the same now.

Also, it feels like the car isnt reving like it should... i am at 100% throttle and it is slowly going up the rev range...

Thus, i want to double check all the vacuum lines from the AVO intake to the manifold etc.

Does anyone have a diagram or can tell me which goes to wher from the avo intake picture attached?

Regards,

D

I have a GC8 MY97.

My setup currently is as follows:

First hose near the turbo goes to the closest hose which i guess is the BOV return line.

The 2nd away from the turbo goes onto the manifold somewhere toward the passenger side of the car.(There was a standard hose there)

The one top towards the turbo - Yes goes to the stock solenoid the other t-piece side I blocked off.

The one on top towards AFM goes straight to the manifold in the default spot

The final port near the afm with the hose on it in the picture goes to the crank case breather hose near the turbo.

Anything wrong?

Sounds like your car is in sleep mode (disconnect battery for about 20min) or maybe you forgot to put the restrictor pill back in if you replaced your vacuum hoses from the turbo.

By sleep mode, i assume you mean limp mode? Well i can rev over 4.5K and there is no engine light so i dont think its limp mode. ALso, ive reset the Ecu a few times and i am running an electronic boost controller so the pill restrictor has been removed.

Yes, the fuel line are mounted by a bracket underneath your manifold.
